&lt;p&gt;During the pre-master’s year, I completed 10 courses (30 credit hours) and contributed to curriculum preparation and presentations delivered to my colleagues.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By the end of the year, I registered my research topic and presented my research proposal investigating the analgesic potential of betanin in a murine inflammatory pain model, with a focus on its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pain-related miRNA regulatory effects.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I then began the practical phase of my research, implementing the proposed study design. This phase included animal purchase and acclimatization, induction of the pain model, treatment administration, behavioral assessments, sacrifice and dissection, sample collection, and subsequent molecular, biochemical and ultrastructural analyses, along with &lt;em&gt;in silico&lt;/em&gt; simulations.&lt;/p&gt;
